Kaisa Saarinen & Hernan Ohaco (Argentinian tango)
Hernán has a holistic relation to tango providing a wide perspective of its art form; his aim is to give dancers and communities new experiences, helping them to learn and enjoy Tango with the whole spectrum. Hernán has a Bachelor‘s degree in education, and he has been teaching regular weekly classes and in special workshops at festivals and events in Finland and Russia (La Milonga and Planetango, Moscow). He has performed at festivals, events and prestigious milongas in Buenos Aires, such as El Beso and Porteño y Bailarin. Moreover, he is also a spirit-lifting DJ, and one of the creators of Milonga Pacifico. His teaching is based on the philosophy of Mario Morales (ARG), and the school will have a close connection with Mario’s Academy. Tango Academy Pasional regularly brings the brightest stars and talented dancers as guest maestros to visit Finland and share their vision. Hernán is also one of the main organizers of the biggest Argentinian tango festival in Finland, Tango Frostbite.
Took first lessons of Tango Argentino in 2003, and has danced more intensively since 2007. Started to perform and give lessons in Tango Argentino with Hernán in 2011, teaching regular weekly lesson at La Milonga, PlaneTango and Derziritmin in Moscow. Has been teaching and performing with Hernán in Finland, Russia and Argentina at various events and milongas, for instance at Porteño y Bailarin, El Beso, La Milonguita de Palermo (Buenos Aires), Alma de Bohemio (tango play in Helsinki), Frostbite. Performed regularly at the Argentinian restaurant El Asado (Moscow). One of the original founders and organizers of Finland’s biggest Argentinian Tango Festival, Frostbite. Currently training to be a professional Somatic Pilates teacher, and utilises her knowledge in that field in her tango teaching, too.
